My Bet(s) for 31st December 2016:

Having analyzed the majority of  UK Horse Racing markets for today I have identified multiple market that I will be trading. Total liability is £100.00 in the race winner market and £100 in the 'to place' market. I'll mainly be using sports betting exchanges to place bets today as bookmaker limitations mean I cannot stake the required amount via that method. Market liquidity seems good and with 2% commission the profit figure will almost certainly be higher than the bookmaker average price.

1.) Warwick 12:00 (Horse Racing)    Stake Size: £100 (10 units)

As you can see above I publicly provide the match, event or race details. The actual bet is kept private but I do share my selections with a small group of individuals that share my long term objectives (in terms of making a long term profit from sports trading). I always provide the bet slips for all selections after the result has been confirmed. My selections are available to view on https://tipstrr.com/tipster/robertsbetshorseracing. I've also traded the same selection in the 'to place' market for this race. Details available on Tipstrr and Bettin.gs

Robert's Bet(s) for Today (30th December 2016) + Profit Update

I'll be returning full time to trading in January however I've made a small number of selected bets across the festive period.  In the following post I will provide an update on all bets placed since my last performance report. My focus was the Kelso 12:30 (Horse Racing) with a 1 unit stake. In total my profit is now currently +£1260.00 with a positive 213.56% Return on Investment (ROI). Please note that figure includes race winner bets only. My actual profit accumulation is higher when each-way and 'to place' additional wagers are considered. These are available on My Tipstrr Page.

Scotswell (Kelso 12:30)    Stake Size: £10 (1 unit)

Odds:  6/1 (7.00)    Result: Lost       Outcome: -£10.00

Comments: Scotswell led for the majority of the race. Confident the value was there at 6/1 (7.00) which is a relatively high price. Other runners finished well. In profit overall for this race as the 'to place' Scotswell bet returned +2.00 units profit. Finished third in the end.

Robert's full results are tracked and verified on Bettin.gs/GoalTrader

Profit Performance for 29/12/16 including Scotswell 'To Place' winner at odds of 6/5 (2.20). Please note the overall profit and return on investment figures show data from verified tips added to the Tipstrr platform only. I frequently place additional bets that are shown on Bettin.gs/GoalTrader only.

My Horse Racing Trades for 29/12/2016 + Profit Report

My Bet(s) for 29th December 2016:

Having analyzed the majority of UK Horse Racing markets for today I have identified a single market that I will be trading. Total liability is £100.00 in the race winner market. I'll be using sports betting exchanges to place bets today as bookmaker limitations mean I cannot stake the required amount via that method. Market liquidity seems good and with 2% commission the profit figure will almost certainly be higher than the bookmaker average price. I'll also explore additional markets closer to the race start time including each-way and 'to place' options.

1.) Kelso 12:30 (Horse Racing)    Stake Size: £10 (1 unit)

As you can see above I publicly provide the match, event or race details. The actual bet is kept private but I do share my selections with a small group of individuals that share my long term objectives (in terms of making a long term profit from sports trading). Profit Update for Wolverhampton 16:30 (27th December 2016):

My single selection was 'Major Muscari'. This selection was backed in the race winner and each way markets. The horse finished second at a SP of 9/1 (10.00) - Results Verification. There is a grading error on Tipstrr currently which shows the each way bet as a loss and the race winner bet as void. I've reported this so hopefully it will be rectified shortly.

Profit Update + New Bet(s) for 27th December 2016 [Wolverhampton 16:30 Horse Racing]

I'll be returning full time to trading in January however I've made a small number of selected bets across the festive period.  In the following post I will provide an update on all bets placed since my last performance report. My focus was the Down Royal Monday 12:50 (Horse Racing) with a 5 unit stake. In total my profit is now currently +£920.00 with a positive 191.67% Return on Investment (ROI). Please note that figure includes race winner bets only. My actual profit accumulation is higher when each-way and 'to place' additional wagers are considered. These are available on My Tipstrr Page.

Moonlone Lane (Down Royal Monday 12:50)    Stake Size: £50 (5 units)

Odds:  8/1 (9.00)    Result: Won       Outcome: +£400.00

Comments: Great result here as I backed Moonlone Lane in the race winner, each-way and 'to place' markets. Significant overall profit from this race. Please note I track the majority of bets (including this one) on Tipstrr. That platform only accepts bets prior to the race start time and the odds quoted as direct from bookmakers so it acts a record verification tool.

Moonlone Lane Bet(s) on 26th December 2016

I'll also make smaller, frequent trades closer to the race start time. These selections are available to view, verified and tracked on Tipstrr. Since my last update I traded Moonlone Lane in the 'to place' and 'each-way' markets in addition to the main race winner selection detailed above.

Market liquidity seems good and with 2% commission the profit figure will almost certainly be higher than the bookmaker average price.

Profit Report for 22nd December 2016 + New Bet(s) for 26/12/16 (Horse Racing: Down Royal Monday 12:50)

Over the festive period my trading has and will continue to be limited.  In the following post I will provide an update on all bets placed since my last performance report. It my original plan to place a single wager with a conservative stake. Closer to the race start time I was able to identify other high value markets so traded them also. In total my profit is now currently +£920.00 with a positive 191.67% Return on Investment (ROI).

- Twenty Eight Guns (Bangor 12:35  Horse Racing)    Stake Size: £10 (1 units)

Odds:  2/1 (3.00)   Result: Won       Outcome: +£20.00

Comments: It's relatively rare that I'll back a favorite in any horse race but just because a selection is available at a low price doesn't necessarily mean there isn't any value. In this rare case at 2/1 (3.00) I felt long term it would provide a positive yield so backed with a conservative 1 unit stake.

Robert's full results are tracked and verified on Bettin.gs/GoalTrader

I'll also make smaller, frequent trades closer to the race start time. These selections are available to view, verified and tracked on Tipstrr. Since my last update I traded Coole Charmer to place at odds of 6/5 (2.20). This won with a 2 unit stake. I also traded D'niro with a single winner bet and a separate each way selection. Unfortunately that horse performed poorly so -5.00 from those selections.

Performance Update + New Horse Racing Bet(s) for 22nd December 2016

Yesterday I made two additional trades. There was a winner and a void selection so my total profit is now currently +£950.00 with a positive 226.19% Return on Investment (ROI). As always I have provided clear documentation of all bets I place. In my post yesterday - the event/match details where provided.

- Ilija Vucic (ITF Puerto Rico: Tennis)  Stake Size: £50 (5 units)

Result: VOID/Refund  Outcome:  +£0.00

Comments: The match didn't start so all bets void (opponent withdrew)

- Colin's Brother (Ludlow 13:35 Horse Racing)   Stake Size: £150 (15 units)

Result: Won   Outcome: +£960.00

Comments: Decided to take a decent stake here and the rewards are significant. I was confident at a price above 6/1 (7.00) the value was considerable.

Profit Report for Yesterday + Robert Bet's for 21st December 2016 (Horse Racing / ITF Tennis)

Yesterday I made two more trades. Both lost so my total profit is still currently -£10.00 with a negative 3.70% Return on Investment (ROI). As always I have provided clear documentation of all bets I place. In my post yesterday - the event/match details where provided.

 - Jaycer Lyeons (ITF Puerto Rico: Tennis)  Stake Size: £50 (5 units)

Result: Lost   Outcome: -£50.00

Comments: Lyeons played a exceptionally poor first set. He improved significantly as the match progressed but he couldn't cover from the deficit.

- Katie Gale (Southwell 15:00 Horse Racing)  Stake Size: £50 (5 units)

Result: Lost  Outcome: -£50.00

Comments: Finished third - ran a decent race and at odds of 9/1 (10.00) I believe the selection was good value for a relatively conservative stake. The price drifted to above 10/1 (11.00) closer to the race start time.

Profit Report for Yesterday + New Selections for 20th December 2016

Yesterday I made two trades. Both lost but my total profit is still currently £90.00 with a 52.94% Return on Investment (ROI). As always I have provided clear documentation of all bets I place. In my post yesterday - the bet slips for both selections where provided.

Fernando Yamacita (ITF Chile F7: Tennis)    Stake Size: £100 (10 units)

Result: Lost   Outcome: -£100.00

Comments: Poor performance from Yamacita. He was beaten in straight sets. As always with tennis the markets are high variance particularly with ITF events with younger players.

Pembroke House (Hereford 12:35 Horse Racing)    Stake Size: £20 (2 units)

Result: Lost   Outcome: -£20.00

Comments: Pembroke House's price drifted to 10/1 (11.00) and even higher closer to the race start time. This is usually a bad indicator but he ran a good race and finished second. Definitely a good value selection and overall I'm happy with this trade - long term it will deliver a positive yield.

Robert's Bets for 19th December 2016 (ITF Tennis / Horse Racing)

After making a healthy profit from the Real Madrid match yesterday I have just finished analyzing todays markets. I've found two trades that present good value. I've kept the stake size relatively cautious on both. My total liability across both markets is £120. I placed both with Betfair today. Unfortunately my sportsbook account is limited so to even get £20 staked on the horse racing required the exchange. I was able to get a good price of 7.80 though (bookmaker best is 11/2 or 6.50)

My Bets for 19/12/2016:

1.) Fernando Yamacita (ITF Chile F7: Tennis)  Stake Size: £100 (10 units)

Comments: Value above 1.95-2.00 based on my projections. Win probability is 60-65%

2.) Pembroke House (Hereford 12:35 Horse Racing)   Stake Size: £20 (2 units)

Comments: Value above 4/1 (5.00) based on my projections. Win probability is 21-24%

I'll be back later with a profit/loss update for today. As always I've included my bet slips below. If you would like to work with me and receive access to my selections in advance of the match/race start time visit the contact me page or follow me on twitter.

Robert's Bets for 19/12/2016

Soccer Investment(s) for 18th December 2016

Hi Guys. Today marks the official start of my quest to earn a full time income through sports betting. I thought this would be a good time to go into a little more detail regarding my goals and how I will monitor and publish my performance. Each day I will post here on 'Goal Trader' clearly stating which bets I placed and my thoughts/analysis behind the advisory. Clearly its my ambition to find value in markets each day that will deliver a profit long term. My expectations are realistic - there will be losses. Hopefully with discipline through the bad periods I'll manage to stay in the green overall.

Robert's Investments for 18/12/2016:

I typically focus on the major European leagues especially over the weekend but there was a market outside of my normal 'comfort zone' that drew my attention. This was the Club World Cup Final between the relatively unknown (outside Asia) Kashima Antlers and arguably the largest soccer team on the planet - Real Madrid. I love to trade markets in matches like this as so much 'uneducated money' backs the better known team. Regardless of other factors - most amateur punters think 'Real Madrid have won the Champions League multiple times in recent years and currently lead the La Liga domestic league in Spain. They have international superstars such as Gareth Bale and Christiano Ronaldo - surely they will thrash a Japanese team will hardly any internationally recognized players?

Bookmakers where largely offering Real Madrid in the 1/10 (1.10) - 1/7 (1.14) odds range which unsurprisingly prices them as a significant favorite. Even at such low odds the vast majority of money backed the Spanish team and I identified and exploited this opportunity to profit. The smart and most effective way to do this would be to 'lay' Real Madrid using a sports betting exchange. I was a little short of time however and had some money left in a bookmaker account so backed Kashima Antlers with the double chance bet (draw or win) at odds of 5.20

I would always recommend using a sports betting exchange over a bookmaker when possible as that will allow you to avoid account restrictions/limitations. If you are forced to use a bookmaker then always use an odds comparison servicer to make sure you are getting the absolute best price.

Unfortunately I haven't practiced what I preach in this case as significantly better odds where available elsewhere and laying Real Madrid on an exchange at odds 1.10-1.15 would have returned significantly more. Rest assured I will be doing that with future bets.

Match Result: 2-2 FT (4-2 after extra time)   Verify Match Outcome @ Soccerway

Bet Slip / Profit Report:

Kashima Antlers produced a solid display and Real Madrid where largely below their best. The match finished in a draw so the bet was a winner at odds of 5.20 (stake of £50 so returns of £260)

Kashima Antlers (Double Chance) at odds of 5.20: £50 stake

It's important to remember that with bookmakers all standard match winner bets refer to the final score at full time (90 minutes). It does not include extra time and penalties unless specified. There are separate bets to consider if you want the eventual outcome as your bet such as 'winner of trophy' if its a tournament.
